I wish to raise an objection to the proposed increase in the number of members of the Senedd. With the present dire state of funding for local services in Wales, the irresponsible spending by present members of the Senedd, the total cost of each Senedd member including support thereof, how on earth can elected representatives of the people in Wales justify the significant additional cost of more members. The number of Senedd members should be decreased not increased to demonstrate to the people of Wales that the Senedd is fit for purpose in the current restrictive financial climate.
